 Today in class we did a argumentative essay that took 40 minutes. During the 40 minutes I wrote about how men rather be safe and free. I went into details on why I think men rather be safe than free and also brought in slavery and segregation. I also talked about Emmett till and connected that with the argumentative essay. After that I submitted it and that’s all we did in class today 

 Today in class we went over what a thesis statement is and how to set it up. We came up with some claims on what we think is overrated and made a thesis statement with that claim. As a class we went over some of the students claims and had a discussion and listed our 3 reasons on why we think it was overrated. After that the Mr.Reese went over the correct format and then class was over. 

 Today in class I learned what a thesis statement is. I learned the rules of a thesis statement, the different kinds of thesis statements and the proper definition of a thesis statement. I learned when is best to write a 3 pointer thesis statement and even made some example of one. Also I was not at school 8/31/21  Please excuse me not blogging that day
