Today in class we went over 20 constructive response questions going over the play we have been reading. In first period we did a assignment going over ser vs estate. In 2nd period we had inspections and I failed for not wearing my uniform, and in 3rd period we had a scavenger hunt and quizzes. Today was a cool day. 

 Today in ap literature we described the characters from the book we read on Thursday. We described rose, Cory & Troy. Rose is a patient, reasonable and loyal wife. Troy is a manipulator, liar and narcissists. And Cory is diligent, respectful and patient.  After that we read a passage discussing the u.s financial & board of education.

 Today in class we went over the steps of a good rhetorical analysis. Before writing your analysis the first few steps you start with in chronological order is read and analyze the prompt, identify the rhetorical Situation, read the passage and plan the essay. This entire process should take up to 7-10 minutes. When going into the format, in chronological order we start with an attention getter, introduce the topic and state your thesis. For the body paragraph in chronological order, step 1 you identify the strategy and tell its purpose, step 2 show an example in the text, step 3 explain its effect, step 4 repeat step 1 & 2, step 5 repeat step 3, and for step 6 in the conclusion. 

 Today during 4th period I got checked out, but before getting checked out we started reading the pledge written by Maya Angelou who is a famous African American poet who is also famous for acting. I didn’t get to read much because I got checked out at the beginning of class but first, second, and third period wasn’t so bad. My first period teacher hasn’t been here because of an family emergency so we’ve been chilling in another teachers class. Second period I have rotc which was fun because we got back our uniforms. And I like third period even though it’s chemistry because we do a lot of hands on activities that makes the classroom more interesting. 

 Today I wasn’t in class, I got checked out in 3rd block.
